Video Producer

Transvideo Studios is seeking a Producer with an artistic eye and creative sensibilities. You would be working very closely with a creative team and helping to bring those ideas to life. Duties would include but are not limited to producing videos in studio and on location, on various delivery formats, developing and overseeing budgets, providing client services and supporting various company projects. Responsible for overseeing multiple projects within tight deadlines simultaneously. Corporate video production experience a plus.

This position requires an active, creative team member in a fast-paced studio environment. Strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Senior Editor

Transvideo Studios is looking for an exceptional Senior Final Cut Pro editor. You must have the ability to craft a visual story, and be able to deal directly with client relationships in supervised and unsupervised edit sessions. Must have 3-5 years experience in Final Cut Pro and be able to edit online including clean tight cuts and color correction. Knowledge of multi-format output is required, including Beta-SP, Digibeta, DVCProHD, and all various web formats. Working knowledge of frame rates and aspect ratios a plus. Must have exceptional organizational skills including naming conventions and file structures.

Motion Graphics Artist

Transvideo Studios is seeking a Motion Graphics Artist with strong visual design and 2D/3D animation skills. An excellent sense of timing and composition are a must. Technical experience should include Cinema 4D or Maya, After Effects or Motion and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Experience with FinalCut Pro, Syntheyes, Flash, 3D Modeling and rigging a plus.

Jr. IT Tech

Transvideo Studios (Mountain View, CA) is seeking a full-time Jr. IT Tech. Candidate would provide technical support and advice for our users as well as onsite and remote computer services. Position includes some on-the-job training. Candidate should demonstrate good time management, the ability to work with a team, and a desire to acquire and share knowledge in a technical environment. Candidates must be consistent with company policies, goals, and objectives, and will report directly to the Senior Systems Administrator. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
  • Communicate with users at all levels of technical knowledge.
  • Provide support for a range of IT needs.
  • Become familiar with available help resources.
  • Document all work.
  • Assists in the planning, design, documentation, and implementation of systems and databases.
  • Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems; correct identified problems; replace defective components; and work with others to resolve issues.
  • Analyze equipment in order to determine the need for repair or replacement.
  • Train internal users in technology and application use.
  • Use of power drills and other tools.
  • Extended standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
  • May be required to lift up to 75 pounds.
Experience/Requirements:
  • Experience with Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server.
  • Windows and Linux knowledge a plus.
  • Video Editing / Audio Editing software knowledge a plus.
  • Experience with web development

Editor

Transvideo Studios (Mountain View, CA) is seeking (2) full-time Editors.

Requirements:

Candidates must have extensive knowledge of Final Cut Pro editing as well as  FCP troubleshooting, have the ability to quickly learn new hardware and software, have good intuition while working within foreign languages, and have the ability to communicate well with co-workers, managers and clients. Knowledge of Photoshop/After Effects/Apple Motion is a plus.

Candidates must possess the ability to work independently, responsibly, professionally, efficiently, and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Dayshift hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with some nights and weekends, based on project requirements).  Please also note if you are available for Nightshift hours (e.g.,  1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This shift might vary.)
